It's going to take me awhile to get through all the images.....I either get tears in my eyes or goosebumps.
I'm not even talking about the photographs....but the emotion, the love that these two share, is so strong.
I'm going to tackle the laughter first....because there was alot of laughter. This is a very special family.
Or maybe I'll proof the tears.....because man oh man, we went through alot of kleenex.
On third thought, I might just start off with 'the look'. The way they looked at each other....that's where the goosebumps come in.
But if I deal firstly with the love, then, you know what? I've covered it all. Because, through the tears, the laughs, the looks, through all of that, the core of it all, is the love that Robert and Laura have for each other, for their family and their friends.
I had the honor of shooting a wedding of a friend. I was told that I was only allowed one picture during the vows.
But you know what? I almost didn't even take one.
Because being right there in the corner, watching the vows, I almost felt like I was intruding. It was a dark chapel and a flash seemed so intrusive. I couldn't bear to spoil such an intimate ceremony.
So I decided that I had to risk it....I just couldn't bring myself to take one.
And besides, my eyes were full of tears and I couldn't focus anyways.
When the minister called for the kiss, I snuck in between the groomsmen and took one of the kiss.
I think my career as a wedding photographer is over before it started!
This was a very special wedding and I will have more to share.
can give something to others.
We don't always have to receive something first
in order to give something away.
*don't know why the picture is so small-maybe because I haven't posted in so long, I've forgotten how!*
Also....it's almost one year since I started this blog. So, I think some sort of celebration is in order. I've got my people working on it..if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I think it should include prizes! I love giving away things:)
Have a great day everyone.....have I mentioned that the grass is still green and growing?!!!!!!!! That must be some sort of good luck!
