I am totally in L*O*V*E with the Hasselblad. I adore the sound of the shutter. I love loading the film in the camera. I have taken about 5 rolls of 12 exposures. So far, I've ruined quite a few negatives....for different reasons. But that's okay because I am learning so much.
I have signed out the camera for another week so I get to play as long as I don't run out of film!
Here's a scanned look of the first image I printed-complete with scratches.
As much as I love and appreciate digital, there is something about making photographs with film; taking the picture, processing the negatives, making a contact sheet, and then printing the image onto paper. It's quite a process, but worth it.
On another note.....anyone who knows me, knows that I put up the Christmas tree at the last minute. I don't decorate much and I certainly don't listen to Christmas music in November.
But guess what? Times, they are a changing.
Last night, I dug out the Christmas CDs......they were BLASTING throughout the house.
So my Christmas song for today is-Let is Snow sung by Diana Krall.
Have a great day everyone :)
