I was blessed to be in the presence of angels....nine of them.
Each one on their own, was amazing, but together.....oh together, they were, they are, simply and completely breathtaking.
They literally took my breath away.
Life gives up amazing gifts when we least expect it.
Le Nouvel Opera was performed by Alexander Weiman,
conductor and harpsicord and organ,
Emily Walhout, viola da gamba and lirone, Sara Lackie, harp.
And the voices:
Suzie LeBlanc, soprano,
Nathalie Paulin, soprano,
Catherine Webster, soprano,
Matthew White, alto,
Lawrence Wilford, tenor
and Tyler Duncan, baritone.
Their concert was part of the Sackville Early Music Festival.
There is not much in life that renders me speechless.
I'm a very visual person....I need to see things to feel them. I was not prepared for such beauty in the sound of this music.
It was an amazing experience for me, and it will always be apart of me.
Plus I've already started downloading their work from iTunes;)
I will not even mention the tears I shed....what a lucky gal I am.
