Mental Health.

We all have it.

According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, mental health means striking a balance in all aspects of your life: social, physical, spiritual, economic and mental. 

And then there's mental illness. You know, like an illness such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease etc etc. We all seem to have empathy and understanding for those illnesses. Mental illness? Still a stigma.

We are surrounded by mental illness, whether we know it or not, whether we want to see it or not.

The way I look at it?

We all started out the same way......no matter what circumstances we were born in to. We all started out as babies. We all deserve the same.

Everyone, and I mean, everyone. Everyone has a story.

I'd like to think that the world is starting to listen.

Yes....instead of seeing mental "illness" as just like any other injury or sickness that needs proper treatment, care, and recovery they see it as weakness, in themselves or others. I really hope those attitudes are starting to change.
